7,829 seniors waiting for long-term care in BC. That’s up 11% in one year. Average wait: over a year. Maximum wait: 2,825 days. Almost 8 years. This isn’t pressure on the system. This is failure by this NDP Government, and this Health Minister.

When you stop drawing your MP salary while campaigning for Ontario Liberal leadership then you can talk about ethics. Until then you have the credibility of gas station sushi.

The rapidly escalating direct costs of this totally unnecessary bureaucracy likely doesn't compare to the indirect costs it puts on the rest of the health system. The system should support practitioners to do more and better… or if not, at least get the hell out of their way!

Chantal Hébert on Liberals moving to go in camera in four committees: "Of all of the things you can think that were smart to do this week, getting a majority and using it to do this is probably one of the dumbest moves that one has seen in a long long time."

The College of Physicians is the only one that actually wants to help. The ministry is so dysfunctional they have 4 non communicable agencies they EXIST to create silos of roadblocks to a doctor being able to get a billing number to see patients. The complexity is why exist?

The NDP Attorney General isn't negotiating to protect property rights. She's negotiating a co-governance model sharing provincial decision-making power with First Nations leaders. That was never on the ballot. #bcpoli

I was called a “conspiracy theorist” in Parliament so I brought the receipts! Yesterday in the BC Legislature the government was asked why the word Provincial is being quietly scrubbed from our park signs. They called it a conspiracy theory and said they were just modernizing

Last night, I was on CBC News speaking about the sudden cancellation of the Beedie Long Term Care Centre - and like so many in our community, I am shocked. This project was something people were counting on. To have it pulled with no warning is a complete blindside. The

The middle-class dream of owning a home is dead in Vancouver. Sky-high prices and lack of good paying jobs have crushed affordability under the NDP. Home ownership has plummeted to just 46%. Years of NDP over-regulation and reckless spending have made this crisis even worse.

If true, this is shocking and utterly unacceptable. “British Columbian” is an exclusionary term? Not on my watch. (If true) it also serves as a sharp example to those who doubt that ideology has crept steadily into our government departments. No tin foil hats needed,

Josie Osborne stands up in the legislature telling British Columbians she’s “hard at work.” Hard at work doing what? Cancelling hospital expansions, scrapping long-term care homes. Leaving thousands of seniors waiting with no plan. British Columbians are trusting people. But

If the NDP want to scorn British Columbians, let us not stand in their way. Their hatred and disdain for who built our province is more palpable by the day. May the government that replaces them rip out and torch all traces of their ideology, with great enthusiasm and energy.

Rachel Enns (@madaboutpaper) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The rationale for this boneheaded move is ridiculous. The label "British Columbians" is in no way exclusionary to newcomers or refugees. Once you live in the province for 3 months, you qualify for MSP coverage. BOOM! You're a British Columbian.

The courts ruled that First Nations from USA have aboriginal rights in Canada. Now they’re mentioning Dripa rights. This is a mess. The Transboundry commission is too low level to deal with this. The Feds have to get involved directly!
