Does anyone know where to find Census 2000 block shapefiles for US states? Block group files are available on the Census website, but I can't find 2000 block files anywhere. I appreciate any help! #econtwitter #spatial

Looking for help from the #RStats community. Anyone know the vroom pipe connection equivalent to dplyr's filter(x %in% y), where y is a vector? I'm trying to pre-filter a large file. Maybe ky?

We are super off-cycle (due to unexpected departures), but we have two TT lines that just got approved/posted! Each position requires a research focus related to agriculture/natural resources. Hit me up if you have questions! We're planning to move fast. jobs.montana.edu/postings/40716

Looking for some #RStats help. I created a factor using: mutate(x = factor(x, levels = unique(x)). When I reran the code and compared to a previous run, something with the factor is different. dplyr::all_equal reports this: factor<a0b1e> vs factor<038df>. What does this mean?

The idea that the US health care system is free market or an indictment of the private sector is ludicrous when only 11 cents of every dollar of health care expenditure is out of pocket. It was 33 cents in 1970. It’s a government system with perverse profits for certain players.
