Their changes have given them a bit of energy, they’re looking more threatening than they did for the first 20 mins of the second half

Elanga is a really frustrating one. I think he probably needs a run in the team to find some sort of form, but he’s showing absolutely nothing in his cameos to warrant starting ahead of Barnes or Murphy.

I’d love Sandro to be at NUFC for the next 5 years, but he won’t be. He’s probably capable of playing for any team on the planet and unfortunately, with restrictions in place, will outgrow the club regardless of how ambitious we may try to be. It’ll be in a summer or two.

I know the league is incredibly tight because plenty of teams look bang average (us included) but we really, really could do with winning tomorrow. We’re 2 points off the bottom 3, approaching December and after Brentford, we’ve got City.

Barnes did brilliantly to create space for his goal and Thiaw is putting in yet another outstanding performance at the back. Apart from that, it’s been pretty rank.

Hahaha, that went in as I was in the middle of typing. Fucking outstanding, lads. Well done. Another brilliant Pope punching fail. Fuck me.

Farcical substitutions and in game management, here. Are we allowed to ask questions yet? Because this reeks of someone who is losing their way. I’d much rather it wasn’t the case, but bringing Hall on after Burn is sent off & hooking Pope before a penalty is desperate.

Every week feels like a chore. Every goal feels like relief, or something we’ll need to desperately cling onto. Week on week, there’s no dominating, assured performance regardless of the level of opposition. We look disjointed and lacking any identity. It’s really worrying.

Jenky Yep. The overall performance was poor again. When was the last time you saw NUFC play and thought ‘we were class there’. Not sure I’ve had that feeling all season tbh. Maybe Liverpool …and we got beat
