Do train drivers deserve to earn Ā£60,000 after overtime and working rest days? With me in the studio to discuss this are a Ā£91,000 a year Tory MP, a Ā£200,000 a year rightwing journalist and a chief executive on Ā£4.2m.

Wes Streeting's promise to work closer with pharma is dangerous. 20 years ago MPs said: "The secretary of state cannot serve 2 masters. The department seems unable to prioritise the interests of patients over the interests of the pharma industry.ā€ 1/2 theguardian.com/commentisfree/ā€¦

I feel like they're trying to do with "four-day week" what they did with "living wage" - take a leftist concept and change the definition to make it way less radical, while also making it harder for people to discuss the original proposition

The thing is, we're way too reliant on big housebuilders to deliver the homes we need. Of course they'll say that planning reform isn't the main issue becauseā€”to themā€”it's not. What we need is diversification: 3,000 developers building 100 homes; not 30 companies building 10,000.

Quite intrigued by the legal position around announcing the price of something, have people queue for 10 hours, then at the front, tell them itā€™s gone up by 300 per cent. Iā€™m sure itā€™s fine but a ten million person class action against ticketmaster would cheer the nation right up

If you're a millionaire walking past an individual experiencing homelessness you have three options. 1) take a photo and tweet it. 2) help the individual. 3) stop hoarding wealth, stop avoiding paying your fair share of tax, and realise that you are the problem.

If it wasn't clear at the time, it is clear now. Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt poisoned the wells and salted the fields to ensure they left Labour a terrible inheritance. The supposed party of law and order preferred manufacturing a prison crisis to doing the right thing

The degree to which British Brexiteers assume or fantasise that the UK features at the top of French political minds, not to mention in Macronā€™s domestic decision-making, never ceases to amaze

Thank you for your patience this week, as I've battled computer issues: Here's an enhanced autochrome of a veteran match seller, seated by the Masonry Museum in Canterbury, taken by Clifton Royal Adams in 1928. It was taken in colour and isn't colourised. šŸ˜

Technically this may be correct. But pensioners can call 0800 99 1234 and a helpful DWP person will fill it in over the phone. Most questions can be ignored.

This is utterly nauseating. We don't need cosy chats with crypto-fascists, we need brave & moral leadership that has the guts to put in place measures like safe routes. This is just more performative politics; it doesn't solve anything, and it's cowardly. bbc.com/news/articles/ā€¦

Good Morning Britain If you want to platform the IEA (and its perennial, unrelenting attacks on our NHS)ā€¦ ā€¦then you should at least be demanding full disclosure of who funds them. Anything less is a profound irresponsibility to transparency, journalism and the public interest.
