On the plus side, I did leave the hospital with a pretty gnarly new scar, running pretty much up and down my entire back. So I’ve got that going for me, which is nice. Thanks Cancer!

Cancer is a full-time job I never applied for. Every day brings a new series of challenges, and I hate it. Why does health care have to be SO DIFFICULT? Thanks Cancer!

Finally got the go-ahead for an in-person consult at John’s Hopkins next week to see if I qualify for a clinical trial. I just think it’s a bummer I have to pay for airfare & lodging up until I’m officially enrolled. (Oh I hope I get enrolled!) Thanks Cancer!

Somehow I ended up in the hospital with sepsis and possibly meningitis. I FEEL AWFUL. #fuckcancer

I know I’ve been largely MIA lately. In part, because of Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover, but mostly because of my own tumors’ takeover. Particularly my brain tumor. I’m scared. Thanks Cancer!

I’m now on the same chemo combo I’d first started upon diagnosis in 2020 (only this time alongside immunotherapy). But my oncologist was right to remind me my body, on the other hand, is not the same. It’s sort of kicking my ass this time. 🥵😂Thanks Cancer!
