In the face of insecurity & significant funding shortfalls - World Food Programme has reached 3 million of #Ethiopia’s most vulnerable people with lifesaving food & nutrition assistance, since the start of this year. We will continue to do our utmost to meet the growing needs.

In Amhara region of 🇪🇹, World Food Programme is working with partners to prevent & treat malnutrition for 300,000 mothers & children. We screen, follow-up & support those in most need with nutritionally fortified foods, helping keep families healthy & strong!

UPDATE: Happy we received indication of additional commodities for WFP nutrition activities in 🇪🇹, which could delay immediate pipeline break. Will continue to advocate for funding & work with the Gov't to assess needs & adjust prioritised target numbers, based on resources.
