The first movie I subtitled debuted in 2021 on ɐñɐdsƎ xı̣ןɟʇǝN. This rom-com tells the story of Adri, a man who decides to become a patient at the psychiatric center where Carla, the woman he fell in love with during a wild night out, resides. Title: Loca por ella / Crazy About Her

Coven of Sisters (Akelarre) aired with my English subtitles in 2021 on ɐñɐdsƎ xı̣ןɟʇǝN. This period film takes place in the Basque Country of Spain in 1609 amid the Spanish Inquisition. Favorite line to translate: 🇪🇸"Era una noche profunda." 🇺🇸"It was the darkest of nights."

The most untranslatable joke I've translated: 🇪🇸 "Monja, monja, monja, monja… jamón." 🇺🇸 "Nun, nun, nun, nun… ham." In this ɐñɐdsƎ xı̣ןɟʇǝN show, Mago Pop asks a nun to repeat the word "monja" (nun) until she says "jamón" (ham) and he pulls a leg of Spanish ham out of a tiny bag.
