13 years ago today @RKOlogist and I recorded the first ever episode of Yo! MTG Taps!. Feels simultaneously like yesterday and forever ago 🥲We didn't expect it to amount to anything, we just did it for fun. And then Michael Flores listened and encouraged us to do more. So we did.🥰

20 years ago tomorrow—December 24, 2002—I had my first ever #MTG content published, on a site called MTGPlanet. "Goblins! A Look at Goblin Sligh in Type Two" 😄 From a broad view it's nothing special, but I was so proud of it. Still am, I suppose. Milestone.

I just sent this to @RKOlogist and he wasn't totally sure whether or not I was joking. Welcome to Magic: The Gathering in 2023 🤷‍♂️

Thirty years! 🤯 How?? This is the first album that really meant something to me. It had a domino effect that undoubtedly changed the course of my life. It's at the root my friendship with ⁦@RKOlogist⁩ (through whom I also met my wife). No In Utero, no ⁦Yo! MTG Taps!⁩.

The roots of Yo! MTG Taps! started with being big fans of Monday Night Magic! Here we are with Tom at MTG Worlds in NYC 2007 (IIRC a young Gavin Verhey wasn't able to make it, being in high school at the time (?))

These two dinosaurs hadn't seen each other in over 8 years! 🦕 We've come a long way since walking to meet each other halfway between our respective houses back in the 90s ☺️ Happy to have spent some time together during bhj's visit to Baltimore from Hawaii (& play some #MTG ofc)
