Twenty-five years ago today, The Party for Cornwall launched the Declaration for a Cornish Assembly campaign. It was backed by over 50,000 people. Two-and-a-half decades on, the campaign for greater self-government continues. Join us in this campaign.



Yet again Luke Pollard MP chooses threats and bullying, instead of recognising a national minority’s right to have our own voice and to make our own decisions. Luke, it is possible to speak up for Plymouth without denying a national minority its rights. Be a better neighbour.


On this day in 1999, Cornwall was awarded Objective One status. Prior to this, Cornwall had missed out on receiving the highest level of economic assistance as the true state of its economy was masked by being lumped together with Devon.
