Volkar reassures delegates he and the YMCA are "committed to making [delegates] feel safe and apologize if [they] didn't feel safe"

Board of Ed staff acted appropriately by closing sessions and watching delegates until the transient could be escorted off the premises

Volkar and the YMCA plan to "relook at our operations to improve our response"

Volkar states the "program could generally improve safety measures." And that the "board of education staff took the appropriate measures"

Volkar also encourages any delegates, advisors, or parents that have concerns can talk to him and that delegate's safety is his #1 concern
