July 22nd was the hottest day since July 21st. July 21st was the hottest day for over 100,000 years. This is what happens when you build a world around shareholder profits, rather than one where our kids - & us - get to survive.

Just been chatting to Neil Hulse, the Sentinel photographer who took this brilliant photo. Says he sees it everywhere but rarely gets any credit. Always namecheck a photographer, if you can, when you use pics on social media, folks. It's a profession. They don't do it for 👏👏👏

How badly will the £12.21 an hour minimum wage damage British business? With me in the studio to discuss this are a £91,000 a year Tory MP, a £200,000 a year rightwing journalist and a chief executive on £4.2m.

Well done to #EnglandU21s and let's hope grassroots football get some small reactions for this win, as everyone of these players once upon a time played grassroots football

In 1999, in exchange for government backing over the right of the Premier League to sell its broadcast rights collectively, the League promised to distribute 5% of its TV income to the grassroots game from 2001 season onwards however, this pledge continues to remain unfulfilled.

Loads of kids football off again this weekend and yes this happens every year The FA has 2 options 1- Move the grassroots season 2- Invest more £money into affordable in/out door facilities But doing nothing and burying their heads in the sand is not a option anymore

This is one reason grassroots football is the way it is, Listen to Simon Jordan talking about the Premier League not paying their dues to grassroots football

"The Privatization of grassroots football" To all those grassroots clubs/teams/partner clubs using these FA/Premier League hubs remember these are not yours even though you might call it your home pitch/training facilities your just a paying tenant to a private company
