Many people want to blame the NWS for the lack of high end tornadoes being rated EF5 but few people want to hold the construction complex accountable for the marked dip in build quality to turn a bigger profit. #wxtwitter

Oh Monday, PLEASE for the love of god have a 2 PM storm initiation and manageable storm motions. That’s all I ask🙏🏻

Seems like I will have my wish come true with the early initiation part, but not the storm motions part😭 They’re gonna be hauling🌪️💨

Fueling myself up for today’s intense chasing ahead at the Blackwell, OK Braum’s. My very first time at Braum’s, it’s very good👍🏻

Wildly underperforming setup yesterday. I really have no clue what went wrong, and it shows that we as humans have SO MUCH yet to learn about tornadoes. Oklahoma daytime photogenic tornado outbreaks are indeed not back🙄 Also praying for all in Barnsdall-Bartlesville

This is the moment where I thought for sure a significant tornado was imminent. Video taken at 6:48PM just west of Lacey, OK.

It’s time to stop shaming fellow storm chasers for wanting to see tornadoes. Like that’s the whole point. I am out here because I like to see tornadoes and look forward to chasing them. 95% of storm chasers chase with the goal of seeing a tornado in mind. This obviously doesn’t

It has occurred to me that the definition of "bust" is extremely subjective and that it doesn't really matter what you call it, as long as you acknowledge the fact that the forecast was wrong. Thats no ones fault either, we all would've drawn a high risk too. We'll learn from it.

Aurora pics from Central MN on Friday night. It was my first ever aurora experience and it was great! It’s pretty sad that auroras of that magnitude are extremely rare :(

Well yesterday was trash, worst chase I’ve had in years. I played the northern end of the threat in southern MN and it was complete junk (typical MN), and missed everything incredible that happened in Iowa. Very upset about this one.

Just got this beautiful cone tornado north of Newman Grove, NE at 6:22 PM! Never condensed fully but did have a ground circulation.

Apparently lots of people need to hear this: chasers are allowed to be excited about storms and experiencing said storms, while still acknowledging the catastrophic destruction they cause and helping out afterwords. We need to STOP shaming storm chasers for being excited.
