Albert Lea took the mat at the Christmas Tournament today @ RCTC. Joey F (113) and Cam D (132) went 1-2. Caleb Talamantes (145), Brady N (220) and Griffin S (152) went 2-1 advancing to day 2. Josiah H (160) went 3-1 to advance. Cole G (120), Nic C (126), and Zach G (182) are 2-0.

VIDEO: Albert Lea Wrestling's zach glazier is named The Open Mat's Adidas High School Wrestler of the Week. Glazier, ranked No. 14 in the nation at 182, won the Minnesota Christmas Tournament in that weight class. He's committed to wrestle in college at the University of Iowa.

Tonight's dual against #3AA Scott West in Belle Plaine came down to the big boys. Albert Lea came up just short losing the dual 25-30. AL Wrestling is back on the mat Dec. 28-29 in Fargo, ND at the Rumble on the Red.
