The GMC taking responsibility for the registration and regulation of PAs & AAs is a seismic shift. It’s not just a minor change. Pressure will soon come from the NHS and government for PAs to be able to prescribe & order imaging, making them de facto (but under-trained) doctors.

Jeannie Watkins has 8 papers in INDEXED journals Approximately 20 further indexed articles have cited these 8 papers. This work has led to citations in IEA and other think tank documents to push through national policies which are killing people. This is criminal.

Explain why this is repeated without qualification. PA do not bring any skills that are not already there in the form of a doctor. If a PA is there instead of a doctor then PA is taking the place of a doctor. This is not hard to understand.
