1. Women Legislators Lobby - WiLL alumna Rep. Barbara Lee Peter Meijer Rep. Abigail Spanberger Rep. Chip Roy Press Office Rep. Gregory Meeks' amendments to repeal 2002 & 1991 Iraq Authorizations that the Use of Military Force, and express a Sense of Congress that AUMFs should include a sunset provision passed en bloc.

Last night, the annual National Defense Authorization Act #FY23NDAA , passed on the House floor. While the Senate must still pass their version, we're celebrating the progress made on several key amendments. Here's what happened with 10 of the amendments we endorsed:

BREAKING: 137 Democrats and 14 Republicans just voted to roll back $37 BILLION in excess Pentagon spending that was added in committee.

While the amendment failed, we’re gaining support at break-neck speed.

Every year, we get closer to ending unchecked military spending.

We 100% agree with @BriannaforCO. Federal measures are worthwhile, but the policies that most often impact our daily lives happen at the state level. We need legislators that are willing to address harmful state laws.
