Medical abuse it seems, is legal in the UK, because the law is repeatedly allowed to be flouted. If medical professionals all hold a get out of jail free card then none of us are safe from avoidable injury. #InformedConsentDenied #FirstDoNoHarm

Why would the ambassador for women,CEO of the wellbeing of women and a scope manufacturer and all the others be invited and not a single patient with a lived experience ?

Just in case anyone doubts that women who fear they may have endometrial cancer are coerced into having outpt hysteroscopy - coercion being ofc fatal to IC and contrary to Good Medical Practice GMC Someone pls tell me, how can this be justifiable?

Why do I keep fighting? What is the alternative? to let my surgeon TLOC the hospital The Princess Grace Hospital, HCA Healthcare UK ISCAS and Bupa Bupa UK Bupa Bupa Global sweep what they did under the carpet? If we don't make a stand avoidable, needless, harm WILL continue.

Valerie (Val) Humphreys Tamara Jay Louella Vaughan RoyalCollegeObsGyn Am angry about your awful experience. BSGE claim that Trial by Outpatient Hysteroscopy without anaesthesia is 'acceptable' to women. Here's Oxford's video warning patients to tell staff if they want to be sick during awake hysteroscopy. Acceptable to be sick? They know!

Wes Streeting Jess Asato MP Wes, please ask Jess Asato MP to end Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) womb endoscopy +/- surgery (hysteroscopy) done with NO anaesthesia. Women are screaming and shouting in gynae outpatients in order to save your NHS England money. It's a scandal, likely to end in expensive litigation.

Valerie (Val) Humphreys Tamara Jay Louella Vaughan RoyalCollegeObsGyn BSGE youtube.com/watch?v=LYkuGF… Oxford University Hospital is using this video to groom women into accepting an - at best - unpleasant psychosexual event. (Very rich women can buy general/spinal anaesthesia or sedation+analgesia)

Parody RCGP Yet I have written to the CQC about outpatient #Hysteroscopy without adequate anaesthetic and informed consent several times over the last 7 years. I just get a standard reply saying it will be passed on to the inspector when my hospital trust are being inspected.

RJH Carry-on- Clarky My medical students were at an OPH clinic: they were shocked and appalled at what they saw. The staff weren’t and had totally normalised the levels of pain and distress.

Dr Katie Cairns (@kiityc) 's Twitter Profile Photo

RJH Carry-on- Clarky This was within the last FORTNIGHT. It’s happening NOW. They aren’t “naive, sheltered medical students” they’re just not inured to participating in avoidable suffering.
