I-96 WB exit ramp at Wixom Rd is very slippery and Semi’s are getting stuck. Our DPW and Oakland County Road Commission are working on it, but it may take a while. Please use the Beck Road exit if possible

Pontiac Trail is completely shut down in both directions at Oak Creek Drive, which is west of Wixom Rd. Power Lines are down and DTE is on scene but it will take most of the day to clear up. Please find an alternate route.

We had a good training day at two of our schools in Wixom. Our training team took the teachers & staff through the lecture- and skills-based instruction. We hope they feel empowered to protect themselves (and their students) if they ever face the worst day of their lives.
