COACHES: Every single day you have to fight for the culture that you want. You have to compete for the hearts and minds of your players. You have to intentionally inspire those that you lead. It's not always easy but it will always be worth the effort.

This Mother’s Day, take your mom on a road trip, cook her favorite meal, or go on an adventure together. It’s not always about the gift but the memories you make together.

“I’m going to take a very simple approach built on repetition, with an emphasis on execution and minimizing decision making. We’ll emphasize taking care of the ball, taking good shots, hitting the glass and being sound defensively.” (Dick Bennett)

You are responsible for your effort.
You are responsible for your attitude.
You are responsible for your mindset.
You are responsible for your unselfishness.
You are responsible for what kind of teammate you are.

Own what you can own.

Don Meyer on Teaching/Coaching:
* Quality > Quantity
* It fits, correlates, all goes together
* Vets teach Rookies (Never 2 rookies)
* Skill Coach not a Drill Coach
* Repetition is oldest and still the best form of teaching
* It’s not what you Teach, it’s what you Emphasize!
