#MemberSpotlight: Today we celebrate our member Leelanau Peninsula in Michigan. Located in between Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay, the Leelanau Peninsula experiences cold springs and warm fall weather, making for a long, successful growing season!

#MemberSpotlight: Today we honor our member @Bordeauxwines! The region is defined by gravel, sandy or clay soil, the oceanic climate, and the Gironde, Garonne and Dordogne Rivers. It has rare frosts in winter, warm summers, and sunny autumn weather for optimal grape ripening!

#DidYouKnow: According to the Wine Institute, the average American consumes 2 gallons of wine per year! Compare that to our friends in Portugal, where the number is seven times this amount - 15 gallons annually.🍷

This year, and every year, WOA and its members are committed to sustainability. For example, our member region @OregonWineBoard is dedicated to producing high-quality wine in complete synergy with its surrounding nature, while maintaining responsibility for its land use.⛰️

This #BlackHistoryMonth, we raise a glass to the generations of Black leaders and entrepreneurs who have shaped the wine industry. Cheers to honoring the past and cultivating what's next!
