Wilson's Chess team won the Russell Jamboree at RGS Guildford on Friday with 11/16, ahead of Hampton (10), RGS , Tiffin, St Olaves and KCS Wimbledon. ECF Schools Chess

Today's year 7 chess tournament at Wilson's was bit more chaotic than normal as we had 100 entrants (that is more than half the year group!) Six players tied on 4/4 - two over 1450, two over 1300. ECF Schools Chess

Chess in Schools ran the City of London Schools’ #Chess Tournament yesterday, on behalf of City of London, at the fantastic Livery Hall Guildhall London. An incredibly fun day with 10 schools taking part and 117 pupils competing!

It used to be that chess club was dominatd by year 7s. During covid we had to have bubbles and chess club by year group. This Thursday we have 30 year 12s, 30 year 11s, 30 year 10s and 20 year 9s at chess club. try year group chess clubs - it works! ECF Schools Chess
