I was self-employed at the time so didn’t need it, but time to grieve your loss is so important. Please ask your mp to support this bill

I’m often asked ideas for pets for young children or EYFS classrooms. Weirdly people don’t then rush out & get hissing cockroaches when I suggest them 🙄 99% of cockroaches are not pests & they’re really clean animals #classpets

The notorious Luci (short for Lucifer), harmless to humans but not other tailess whip scorpions. She ate a friend I bought for her 😬 #Nationalscienceweek2023 #scienceweek #bugfacts #arachnidsofinstagram instagram.com/p/CpPX-PsIFfQ/…

We’ve been celebrating #BritishScienceWeek2023 so far by looking at the connections between animals as well as between their habitats. And Scotts Park Primary had two brave teachers who ate roasted mealworms this morning! #scienceworkshops #scienceweek

We were crawling around Keston Primary yesterday & were super impressed with their minibeast outfits for their bug day (even if some fake spiders or eyes were left in the classroom!). #scienceweek #BritishScienceWeek2023

.Scotts Park Primary celebrated #BSW with activities based on 'connections'. Enrichment activities were held for year groups, with visits from the Cairis and Shooting Stars Circus. Students participated in live lessons from #BSW primary science pack 👉bit.ly/3FFtNIT

Angela's Miscarriage Leave Bill is important and necessary. It's sad to see it fall because of a broken system at Westminster. We deserve better.

.DHL Express UK you should give some more driving training to the driver of van SH18MRY on monday turning right on the roundabout onto the A2 (into my car!) from the middle lane. It’s dangerous driving just to save a minute of waiting in a queue for the lights.

Nursery have had a fantastic time exploring some mini- beasts and insects! We showed lots of resilience to stroke and even hold the large land snail. Thank you Cairis Woodland Academy Trust

EYFS had the enormous pleasure of welcoming Cairis this week to help bring their 'Bugs & Buds' topic to life. The children explored a mixture of creatures, dead and alive. They experienced a hermit crab, millipede, bearded dragon, hissing cockroach and many, many more.

It is with great sadness we announce that the gorgeous corn snake Sylvester McCoil has bowed out of his final show. Although 15yrs is only an average length life- he was anything but average. A beautiful snake inside and out. He changed alot of opinions on snakes. Much missed 🩶

Unfortunately I have covid - for the first time (& caught off our preschooler!). So I’ve luckily had some time, in-between shivering & headaches, to catch up with the many bookings for science week. So email quickly! And here’s some bug facts about some local bugs!
