Botley Fire Station & Wickham Fire Station have attended a bale of hay alight in a stubble field. Crews managed to stop the fire from potentially spreading very quickly using hose reels and drag forks.

A steady day for us at sunny Wickham. Mobilised at 12:00 by @hfrs_control to standby at Fareham Fire Station. 2 calls so far, 1 to gain entry at a property in Fareham for South Central Ambulance Service, then an automatic fire alarm in Segensworth. No action was required. We’re Back and ready for the next call!

After a busy day yesterday including a fire measuring 30m by 10m of undergrowth at Alver Valley, we got back to home station at 23:00, then at 03:30 @hfrs_control mobilised us as relief crews to the ongoing incident in Wareham Forest. #LongDay

An early start for us again this morning, 03:30 we were mobilised back to Verwood forest. Back at home station now, kit and truck cleaned. Ready for the next call!

After a busy couple of weeks for us at sunny Wickham, drill night consists of an evening of standard tests, fitness tests and the cleaning of many many bits of equipment!

13:41 @hfrs_control mobilised us and Cosham Fire Station to reports of an abandoned caravan on fire near Hambledon. This quickly spread to approx 20 hectares of stubble. Great work by crews from Havant Fire Station Fareham Fire Station B/Waltham and 2 tractors in protecting property and fire spread.

Scene made safe by Wickham Fire Station after road incident today at 1.15pm along the A32. Please remember to drive with extra caution when roads are wet
