Yesterday and today, the Clean Cooking Association of Kenya , Kilifi County Government #003, and WWF-Kenya launched sustainable energy initiatives! π± We commissioned improved cookstoves at Katana Ngala Secondary School to promote clean cooking π₯π©βπ« and planted indigenous trees in Bore Shungwaya
On July 26, 2024, the Clean Cooking Association of Kenya, Kilifi County Government #003, and WWF-Kenya planted mangroves at Matsangoni-Bandarini to mark the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem. πΏπ Mangroves protect coastlines, support biodiversity, and mitigate climate change.
