Congratulations to Derek Archer on being named SLIAC player of the week!

Freshman pitcher Derek Archer was named SLIAC Pitcher of the Week after throwing a one hit complete game to earn his first collegiate win. He would strikeout nine batters in the Blue Jays 1-0 victory against Grinnell on Sunday. Congratulations Derek!

The Westminster Baseball team split the doubleheader against Spalding University on Senior Day. They would drop game one, 11-1, and win game two, 14-7. The senior Blue Jays combined for ten hits, nine RBIs, and eight runs in the game two win. wcbluejays.com/sports/bsb/202…

Happy birthday to alum Fred D. Farris, ’49 KA, who turns 100 years old today! Mr. Farris attended WC from 1946-1949 on the GI Bill after serving in the army in WWII. He has 3 children, 2 of whom are also WC alumni: Alan Farris, ’76 ΒΘΠ, and James Farris, ’79 ΒΘΠ.
