One of our student's Nan was responsible for making this lovely banner on behalf of Woking Environment Action. All of the materials used were recyled. It fit into our 'Wonderful World' topic in Y4 where we focused on being more sustainable and eco-friendly. 🌴♻️

For our hook lesson, Year 4 have had a go at following an instruction text for 'how to make a Roman road', except... we made it with biscuits! Yum!

We are very proud of our Year 6 pupils. They have worked very hard all year, and showed great resilience and pride when showing their skills in this week's SATs assessments. Well done to all of Yera 6!

Year 6 had a very informative workshop learning about teeth and oral hygiene today. We then designed our own toothpaste, and designed and created packaging for our toothpaste!

Last half term, the children in Year 5 wrote some persuasive letters about topics that they felt passionate about. One student chose to write to Arsenal Football Club about homelessness and what they could do to help. Today we received a reply in the post! Bukayo Saka Arsenal

Year 6 took part in a STEM workshop today - looking at strucures. We used straws, card and tape to build a bridge that was 30cm long and could hold up to 1kg. We learnt about the shapes that engineers use to make the structures stronger.

Year 6 have been reading a text called 'Darwin's Dragons'. As part of our work we have created some dragon's eyes out of clay. We think they look amazing!

Year 6 held their annual Enterprise Challenge today. Each group is given £10 to spend on creating a product to sell, or an activity for the rest of KS2 to take part in. All profits made go towards leaving something for future pupils to enjoy! All of their ideas were enjoyed!
