I think my favorite thing about being a college coach is the player that you give a small scholarship offer to as a sort of opportunity to ‘prove you belong scholarship’. Then after a couple of years she becomes a starter. That’s my favorite story I never get tired of.

Based on this evening’s forecast, schools will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 26 and all after-school activities must end by 6 p.m. tomorrow, Sept. 25. Any decision to close schools on Friday, Sept. 27 will be determined by the impact on Orange County and timing of the storm.
