May 14th, a man in Guangzhou regretted buying a dog for more than 300 yuan & went to the store to ask for a refund. Bc the dog had no health problems, the store refused his request. The man then suddenly lost control of his emotions after being rejected & beat the dog to death.

Residents of Pujiang Town, Shanghai, China, reported that stray cats and dogs in the area died unexpectedly or showed symptoms of poisoning. On May 11th, 2024, they discovered a man suspected of feeding stray cats food with unknown ingredients and then called the police.
