It would be long & perhaps not “interesting” to go into detail but there’s so many decisions you have to make daily in animal rescue & all you have to rely on is experience & gut instinct. Sometimes you’ll never know if you’ve made the right call. All we can do is our best🫶🏽

It’s a battle of wits every morning to distract the pigeons, jays, blue titis, squirrels & robbins with their mediocre seeds & nuts so Pete the disabled pigeon can get his special (and by special I mean ridiculously expensive) cashews. It’s a daily standoff 😂🥜

I try to keep my tl as positive as I can but today I’ve been shouted at by a man for feeding birds, hit on by a man who I sometimes see walking who I’ve rejected multiple times & sneered at by a man for promoting a party that represents animals. Can men leave me alone I’m tired.
