Year 2 used their knowledge of continents and atlases to locate the oceans of the world. Kapow Primary

In EYFS, we had lots of fun painting observational drawings of daffodils as we have been thinking about Spring.

In EYFS, we have had fun reading The Hungry Caterpillar. We've been enjoying learning in all areas about butterflies. We've decorated butterflies in the creative area and transient art area. We wrote about butterflies and made patterned caterpillars.

Today, we were lucky to have a visit from our school lunch provider - Citywide. We watched some cooking demonstrations and tasted their yummy creations!

In 1/2M, we had our first trial run of making wheels attached to an axle. This was the children’s first practise before making their designs. Kapow Primary

In Year 1 Maths, we are now working on numbers to 50. The children were learning to partition numbers into tens and ones. White Rose Education

In DT, in Year 5, we are building a Truss Bridge using spaghetti. Kapow Primary

In Year 5 science lessons, we learned about asexual reproduction. We took 11 cuttings off one mint plant and placed them in water. We are observing what happens over time. This is one cuttings after 2 weeks - roots are starting to grow! Kapow Primary

In Year 5 Science lessons, we discussed the life cycles of plants and dissected a flower to identify the different parts. Kapow Primary

In Dat, year 5 made beam and arch bridges using thin card. Kapow Primary

In EYFS, we enjoy our outdoor learning. We've been making curry in our mud kitchen.

In nursery, we've loved learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar and have drawn the different stages of the cycle.

Today, in Year 1, the children have been comparing length and height in Maths. We went outside to investigate using any sticks that we could find and compare their length with a partner. #everychildnumerate White Rose Education
