For too long we’ve tolerated the degradation of our chalk streams, rivers and beaches. Good to speak to Surfers Against Sewage in Parliament today about how we can put that right, starting with this Government’s tough action on water companies.

After last week's successful water summit in Southend, today I met with @SurfersAgainstSewage in parliament. I gave Ollie Ratcliffe from Seahorse Environmental my assurance that the drive for cleaner, sewage free waters is a top priority for me.

It was great to meet with both RiverActionUK & Surfers Against Sewage today following the #MarchForCleanWater last weekend. With the River Wye, River Usk and River Tawe all running through my constituency working to clean up our waterways is a top priority of mine.
