This voucher records the purchase of a Harden 'Star' Hand Grenade Fire Extinguisher. These weren’t explosive, but were instead thrown onto fires to release extinguishant: saltwater or carbon tetrachloride (now known to be toxic).

We have received some photographs without a confirmed location of where they were taken, believed to be somewhere between Dudley and Halesowen. Can you help us to identify these streets/ areas?

In this indictment book, John Wagstaff of Chilvers Coton was charged in 1639 for 'coming in a tumultuous manner with other persons unknown to steal a maypole'. We hope there's no such commotion in today's #BankHoliday celebrations!

Happy #InternationalStarWarsDay !
Chambearlin loves to play dress up, & he couldn't miss the opportunity to dress up as his favourite character (although we do appreciate he does look more like an Ewok!)
May the Fourth be with you!
