Cody Matkea 1998-2019

The Edmonton Warriors junior program unexpectedly lost one of their family on Sunday when Cody Matkea tragically passed away in an early-morning canoe incident on Lac St. Anne.  Cody played for the Warriors JrB2 and JrB1 teams in his first three years of eligibility (1/2)

and was to be returning for his first game of the season as a fifth-year on Monday.  Our hearts are broken having lost a friend, an impact player, and a true Warrior. (2/2)
