There are two dueling ADU bills in Hawai'i going to conference committee. A very weak version came out of the House.
A strong bill from Senator Stanley Chang with all the ADU best practices passed the Senate. Let's get Chang's bill over the finish line.

I havenβt seen much national or local coverage of Governor Mooreβs successful housing package, but there should be! state-level zoning reform is HARD and Governor Wes Moore and Secretary Jake Day deserve credit for getting the ball rolling
A very big pro-housing win in Maryland today, in no small part because of the work of dan reed π¦π³οΈβππ¬πΎππΎ & Greater Greater Washington, both this year and in the years leading up to it.
Congratulations to Greater Greater Washington, their lead Maryland advocate dan reed π¦π³οΈβππ¬πΎππΎ, and all the pro-housing advocates in the Old Line State for this big win.
The top priority bill, HB 538, which now heads to the governor, will significantly expand housing options near transit.
Exciting work to re-legalize missing middle housing is ramping up in Asheville, NC.
Kudos to MountainTrue for bringing the message to the people! wlos.com/news/local/ashβ¦
Turns out, building more homes is super popular. (Poll courtesy of Greater Greater Washington and dan reed π¦π³οΈβππ¬πΎππΎ) ggwash.org/view/92877/marβ¦

It continues to be a big day for pro-housing policy on the east coast! Maryland HB 538 (aka Moore Housing) passed the State House by a big vote of 98 to 36.
Among other things, HB 538 would significantly expand home options near transit.
Congrats Greater Greater Washington & other champions!
Modest but very meaningful parking reform policy just passed the New Hampshire House with broad bipartisan support!
