Interesting that the state police in the so called live free or die state were the quickest to brutalize demonstrators at a peaceful protest

Tonight UNH admin and Durham Police trampled over student’s first amendment rights. An absolutely uncalled for and disproportionate response from the police against peaceful protesters exercising their free speech and standing up for justice resulted in multiple arrests.

.Chris Sununu, when you signed the update to our nondiscrimination law that included trans people in 2018, you said “it’s the right thing to do.” Vetoing all the anti-LGBTQ legislation coming your way is STILL the right thing to do!

Palestinians are called barbarians and animals.

LGBTQ+ adults are called pedophiles and groomers.

Immigrants are called criminals, illegals, aliens.

Dehumanization is a tool used to coerce public support for harm. We must push back on this language, no matter who it targets.

Asking pronouns is one small part of building a culture of basic dignity and respect. NH Commissioner of Education Frank Edelblut is acting like the self-appointed Commissioner of Fearmongering

Adrienne Beloin is doing vital work in our community - she deserves respect, as do all city employees. The Chair of the Manchester Board of Mayor and Alderman has created a hostile and unprofessional environment that impedes the city’s ability to get work done and succeed.

At pro-LGBTQ news conference to speak out against several bills in the legislature, Erin George-Kelly of Waypoint voices opposition to SB341, which she says would require teachers to 'out' students to parents

A pretty remarkable day for pro-housing policies in New Hampshire!

ADUs, parking reform, and duplexes all passed the State House with bipartisan support.

All are more modest than other states but still would be a big improvement over the status quo.

Passed the House today! My bipartisan parking bill addresses issues with unnecessary local rules for over-paving residential lots, preventing an ADU or addition. 2 parking spaces is the same size as a studio apartment. Build more housing on existing infrastructure.

VICTORY: In a vote of 283-80 the NH House just voted to annul criminal convictions for misdemeanor possession of small amounts of marijuana.

This morning the NH House of Representatives passed HB 1400. This bill would change parking minimums statewide to 1 per unit. We’re so thankful for the strong bipartisan support on this bill. It’s good to see all of us working together to address the housing crisis
