I was lucky enough to see Hamilton in Manchester yesterday and it was stunning! Awesome production with an amazing cast. And the songs just don't get old! I'm going to be singing them round the house even more than usual now... 😂#HamiltourUK

I loved listening to the episode of Being Roman by mary beard where the bureaucrat is FUMING because he is having to ask his colleague for the THIRD time to do an important task for him. So relatable! It's comforting to know life was always like this. 😂

I finished reading Totally Deceased by Sue H Cunningham☁️ Cloud Nine is here! this week. In fact, I read it lying on the floor in my child's bedroom while he played with his toys because I had to know the ending and I could not put it down! (Independent play is good for him, right?) What a fabulous story!

Just read of the sad loss of Sir Tim Brighouse. This list has been on the wall of my class then Office for ever and was and is the most important list I’ve ever had. It’s constantly reminded me that teaching is more than what happens in lessons and that it’s about being human.

I'm reading this - Romantic Outlaws by Dr. Charlotte Gordon - and I'm going to have to reschedule my plans for the next few months to re-read everything by Mary Wollstonecraft, Mary Shelley, Percy Shelley and probably others too! What a fascinating, heartbreaking double biography.

I haven't posted on here for ages but had to come online to say how much I enjoyed listening to the brilliant Amy Beashel and Louisa Reid at House of Books and Friends on Tuesday evening. A wonderful evening and a breathtaking book - I haven't been able to put it down!
