Congratulations to Jaxson Mathenia as he placed second at the state wrestling tournament! As a sophomore, Mathenia had a very impressive season and has a very bright future ahead. Also, let’s recognize how good Waterloo Wrestling Family has been, and the great job the coaches have done.

Lots of 400 fun today with Brown and Lance grabbing 11th & 13th place out of a sea of 53 runners. The 4x400 relay team of Zlatic, Smith, K. Moore (freshman!) and Wilhelm closed the meet with an impressive 4th against some big schools. One heck of a day!!
