Breastfeeding protects infants against illnesses & malnutrition. It reduces mum’s risk of diabetes, obesity & some cancers. WHO recommends: ✅ Start breastfeeding immediately after birth ✅ Breastfeed exclusively for the first 6 months & continue until the child is over 2 years
