🌟Yves Charpentier, French🇫🇷 Financial Counsellor for Africa, with regional officers met Suze Percy Filippini, Food and Agriculture Organization Rep at FAO Offices, engaged in high-level discussions & addressed the drought situation, collaboration with the Government of #Zambia 🇿🇲 & strategic drought response plans.

Since FAO Botswana became a fully-fledged office in 2018, it has provided vital support to the country through a diverse portfolio of projects focused on agriculture, food security, & sustainable natural resource management, representing an investment of approximately💲9,560,798.

Attendees unanimously agreed that there is urgent need to enhance project implementation through strategic stakeholder collaboration. They commended the engagement workshop as a proactive approach to strengthening stakeholder relations.

Food and Agriculture Organization 's Acting Representative in 🇧🇼 Rene Czudek emphasized FAO's recognition of the central role partnerships play in achieving the goals of #Agenda2030 . He called for collective action from all stakeholders to address current challenges & ensure a better🌏for future generations.

Today FAO Botswana hosted a fruitful stakeholder engagement workshop in Gaborone to cultivate partnerships and deliberate on shared priorities, operational approaches, ongoing initiatives, progress, challenges, & strategies for overcoming obstacles with key implementing partners.
