Even urban areas aren't spared from the impact of the #ElNino -induced drought.
Together with Mercy Corps, World Food Programme is providing cash assistance to vulnerable families, ensuring they can weather the storm.

Since 2019, World Food Programme has been providing cash-based transfers to food-insecure urban households in Zimbabwe.
This allows recipients to access nutritious food & combat climate shocks like El Niño ⛈️
