Happy !
If you have ever wondered how the @WSDOT applied a center line stripe onto our state highways in 1936, here you go. Crews were likely able to cover no more than 10 miles a day.

On April 12, 1985, State Senate Resolution 1985-37 declared April 12 as LOUIE LOUIE DAY in Washington. 'Almost Live' host Ross Shafer instigated the campaign to get 'Louie, Louie' as the official state song, but traditionalists weren't budging from 'Washington, My Home.'

Happy Eclipse Day 🌑🌕! Wishing everyone in the path of totality a clear view of the solar eclipse. In WA, we will be at about 20 percent totality, down a lot from our 92 percent in 2017. Here's some eclipse watchers with their protective eye-wear on the Capitol Campus.
