So sad - 2 weeks ago, 90% of the fan base wanted Sam Darnold to return on a multi-year deal to groom McCarthy. Not one fan is now asking for Sam to be re-signed after he won 14 games in one season. That is how far he fell in 2 weeks.

The stat last night - "Vikings are the oldest team (longest in existence) without a championship in the NFL, NBA, NHL or MLB." Now, it has been since 1964 for CLE and 1957 for Detroit. To be fair, MIN won the 1969 NFL Champ and that is equivalent to what Detroit & CLE did.

Fix IT! How bad has the MIN Offensive Line been? Brian O'Neill was a replacement Pro Bowler in 2021 & No other Viking linemen has been named to a Pro Bowl since 2012 (Matt Kalil). Last Guard to be a Pro Bowler? Steve Hutchison in 2009 (15 yrs). Last Center? Matt Birk (2007)

Class Act - When we covered the Pro Bowl in 2018, Adam Thielen stopped to talk to and take photos with the junior flag football teams. He is always a Viking and a good fae of Minnesota.

Cell phone video from our press box seat in the first game at US Bank Stadium. They completed it so late, the did not even have a working scoreboard on the sides til the 2nd quarter of the game.

The very first time the players came out of the tunnel at US Bank Stadium. We sooooo miss the fire coming from the dragon!

Our access to the players on game days in 2017 was unmatched. Here in Pittsburgh. VikeFans covered over 80 games with the media from 2015-2019 playoffs. I retired at the right time, as Covid happened 2 months after the SF playoff game. I stopped as I traveled for work & games

We miss the days of 1960s football, where the Viking Cheerleaders (The St Louis Park Parkettes) marched in neighborhoods for pep rallies to get the community involved with the Vikings. Back then, the fans could actually interact with the players.
