#Didyouknow that the artist John Brett was also a keen astronomer? He went to Italy in the winter of 1870/71 to view the #solareclipse of that time, and while he was there painted this scene, 'The Coast of Sicily from the Taormina Cliffs' victorianweb.org/painting/brett… Glad he went!
