Joy is not dependent on what’s happening around you; joy is deep down within you.

Whatever you’re constantly saying, you’re moving toward. This works both in the positive and in the negative. If you’re always saying, “I never get any good breaks,” you’re moving toward disappointment, but when you keep declaring, “I am blessed,” you’re moving toward increase.

If you can spur someone on in God's love, good deeds will follow. If you can strengthen them in God's love, their life will become better. Love is powerful. God is saying, 'Love them always. Keep loving them anyway.'

Pay attention to your thought life. You can meditate on problems or on promises. What you allow to play in your mind will determine what kind of life you live. When you meditate on God, you’ll be at total rest.

God wants to develop us into His people—people of faith, people who see the desires of their heart fulfilled.

Take some time today to think about that someone in your life who seems to never be able to get their life right. What's your attitude toward them? It's easy to complain and get upset with them, but what good does that do? They need people to help them find a winning attitude.

We must take responsibility for our thoughts and our actions. It’s not your circumstances that get you down; your thoughts about your circumstances get you down.

Love isn't just about our words or thoughts; it's about our actions.

When you are at peace with God, you can be at peace with others. The Bible talks about God’s presence reigning in peace through our lives. If you want the power of God in your life, maintain your relationships through the bond of peace.

It's up to us to stir up love, to make our friends and family aware that they are secure in our love, to tell them we love being a part of their lives and are proud of them, and to be our very best for them. We love because we have God's love to give.

We need to find a way to walk together in peace and unity. That doesn’t mean we’ll agree on everything or see eye to eye all the time. We won’t. But we should agree to walk together “with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love…” (Ephesians 4:2–3)

Let your light shine and you’re going to see miracles. Be an extravagant giver of what you have. Have the mentality that says, “I may not have exactly what you need, but I have a prayer, I have a helping hand, I have an encouraging word, I have something I can do for you.”

When you make someone else’s day, God will make your day. When God sees you blessing others, He blesses you, and there are no blessings to compare to the blessings of Almighty God.

People see your actions, and one of the best witnesses you can have is simply by being good to people. The Scripture says in Galatians 6:10 to be on the lookout for those you can bless.

Nothing you’ve done in the past determines who you are. God has chosen you and qualified you.

The only way you’re going to find the greater things and get to the place God wants you to be is to look up to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. All that you will ever need is found in Him—all the provision, the healing, the protection, the blessings.

The Scripture says, “The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped” (Proverbs 11:25). We are blessed by Almighty God so we can go out and be a blessing to others through our actions and words.

What you think about determines the quality and direction of your life. Naturally, people who think positive, uplifting thoughts have happier, healthier, longer lives. That’s why the Scripture encourages us to think on good things.
