What is interesting about this email is that the answer they proposed is really human-like and accurate. It didn't feel as coming from any particular model I know. The only thing that made me realize it was AI-generated is that it didn't bring any new insight to the table...

yep no model in the world comes anywhere close to this going sleep 100% certain I'm right on my judgement as always, this will soon be common sense, but I said it first (: see you

ffs guys GPT-5 is not AGI it is not even close to being AGI it is not going to become AGI it has the same flaws as all LLMs do but it is a great model possibly the best of today and, as always, this was just day 1 and I could be wrong

some people claiming GPT-5 is a huge downgrade for medical queries I'm not a doctor so I can't really check this claim, but I'm interested in seeing evidence of that. I trusted o3 regularly for health questions (it saved my life) so this is very relevant to me

once(if) the first symbolic AI works, it will be a whole new curve not even claiming it will be good, but it is a new curve any intuition we have for scaling LLMs is completely irrelevant here. LLM limitations are also irrelevant. nobody knows what might happen

Is anyone using GPT-5-Thinking for coding on the terminal? What is the best CLI for it? Codex? Cursor? Claude Code (how?) I've tried Codex/Cursor, both seem sub-par compared to Claude Code
