Tripling renewable energy capacities by 2030 is a commitment signed by 118 countries at COP28 and Moldova is firm on this path. At IRENA meeting in Abu Dhabi we had a valuable experience sharing in overcoming the recent energy crisis and future collaboration in energy sector.

I met Roland Berger team at the World Energy Congress in Rotterdam, in April. And today, I am happy to welcome them in Chisinau, with the intention to extend company's presence in Moldova.

At The Economist annual forum in Athens, I highlighted the importance of our accession to Vertical Corridor, which allowed the transportation of natural gas from Greece to storage in Ukraine. MDA was first to commercially test the route, providing energy security to the region.

We are advancing with the building of the Vulcanesti-Chisinau 400 kV overhead powerline! Over 76% of the 500 landowners in Gagauz region have submitted compensation claims and over 60% were processed. The line will allow for the integration in the European #energymarket.
