If you're being harassed at a bar or nightclub, approach the bar staff and Ask For Angela. Staff have been trained to know this means you need some help. They should intervene and keep you safe

Our staff and volunteers are trained to deliver trauma-informed support which is tailored to the individual. This means that our clients are given the space to be heard and believed, and can feel comfortable talking about their feelings following a crime, helping with recovery.

Everyone reacts to trauma differently. After a crime, some people may suffer a quick trauma response, receive help and recover quickly, but for others, the trauma might not raise it's head until much further down the line. We can help regardless of how far down the line you are.

A current scam is targeting drivers claiming there is 'an unpaid parking fine on your vehicle'. A link in the message sends you to a copycat government website and asks you to input your registration details and pay a £25 fine. This looks official but it's a scam!

Some great advice here for students who are starting their first term at university or college. Remember that crime is never the fault of the victim. The perpetrator is always to blame. If you need support following a crime, we are here to help. bit.ly/47iFUbJ

Victim Blaming is prevalent in our society and it's easy to think things like: "She shouldn't have walked home alone...." or something similar. Why aren't we thinking "He shouldn't have attacked her." Crime is ALWAYS the fault of the perpetrator! #StopVictimBlaming

Watch our for a scam targeting drivers claiming you have 'an unpaid parking fine on your vehicle'. If you click on a link in the message it'll send you to a copycat government website and demand you pay a £25 fine. This looks official but they will steal your details!

The #WeStandTogether anti-hate crime campaign calls for partners from all across NI to sign the #WeStandTogether manifesto and help us work together to reduce hate crime in NI. Belfast's Lord Mayor Micky Murray has now added his voice to the campaign. bit.ly/3TmulKC
