Scammers can be very convincing! Watch out for messages like this one, which sounds like it's coming from a distressed child in need of help. If you text that number, the scammers will soon be asking for money! Agree a recognisable word with family members to confirm it's them

This parking scam is back again - it targets drivers claiming there is 'an unpaid parking fine on your vehicle'. A link in message sends you to a copycat government website and asks you to input your registration details and pay a £25 fine. This looks official but it's a scam!

A gentle reminder to check out our campaign page on victim blaming - we all do it as it helps us to feel safe as we move about in the world. Our campaign explains why it's harmful and how we can challenge our minds to think differently about crime: bit.ly/4j6ZFr1

This 'hi mum' scam relies on parents or family members wanting to help their kids out of trouble. And scammers can now use AI to replicate family members' voices to make it even more realistic. To avoid being scammed, agree on a word you can use to confirm each other's identity

Have you heard of Childline's 'Report Remove' tool? It's a confidential service which combats the sharing of inappropriate images of children and young people online. U-18s can use it to report images of themselves that have been shared. Watch here: bit.ly/4kmvVr8

Crime is never the victim's fault - the blame firmly lies with the perpetrator and only with them. They choose to commit the crime. Challenge your mind to think differently about victim-blaming and support victims as they seek justice bit.ly/43yz8hx

This is so disappointing to read, but we are not surprised by these statistics. The race riots of last summer were a catalyst for rising numbers of people reporting racist hate crime. If you need support contact Hate Crime Advocacy Service [email protected] bbc.in/4mkqgmY
