This parking scam is back again - it targets drivers claiming there is 'an unpaid parking fine on your vehicle'. A link in message sends you to a copycat government website and asks you to input your registration details and pay a £25 fine. This looks official but it's a scam!

This 'hi mum' scam relies on parents or family members wanting to help their kids out of trouble. And scammers can now use AI to replicate family members' voices to make it even more realistic. To avoid being scammed, agree on a word you can use to confirm each other's identity
