An excellent result for a lovely client, sadly with a short life expectancy. The first class team of counsel and experts all pulled together to expedite the settlement. I had a wonderful phone call with the client last week who is over the moon to be settled in her new home.

Today, with huge thanks to Ealing Hospital, we planted a tree - the UK’s only memorial to NHS staff who have died by suicide. May they rest in peace, and may we redouble our efforts to stop it happening ever in the future. 3/3

There has been considerable (and very much needed) recent discussion and concern about maternity services in England. I’m sad to see the hospital where I’ve had 3 babies in the last 6 years has been found to be putting mums and babies ‘at risk’. Urgent action is needed.
