[Shay Argent] Clarissa watched as the strange girl pointed a rather oddly shaped stick towards the ceiling, a strange word pouring -

[Shay Argent] - from her lips. Almost instantaneously, the murmurer of people living above died down and the house fell silent. -

[Shay Argent] - Stuffing her hands into her pockets, Clarissa shuffled uncomfortably. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on here, -

[Shay Argent] - but it was giving her a bad feeling. "Lead the way then" she mumbled, eyeing the girl and her strange stick cautiously.

New York's streets weren't safe at night. Clarissa learned early on to find somewhere to sleep before it got too dark. It was harder in -

- the winter. The nights came earlier and the sheltered filled up faster. Which might explain why Ris found herself out on the snowy -

- streets at midnight. Pulling her hood a little closer around her face she ducked into the doorway of a closed store front. Her green eyes-

- scanned the empty streets and she fidgeted nervously. She could feel something. Something awful. Though she wasn't sure what was behind-

- the fear that began to pool in the pit of her stomach, she knew she wasn't safe. Stepping back out on to the side walk she hurried down-

- the street in the darkness, hoping to outrun whatever was after her tonight.
