I'm in the Children and Young People (CYP) theme first. We have Dr Chris Devany talking about the Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre project on how County Lines works to target CYP, and how responses should respond to this harm

Fascinating session at the Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre conference with Roxanna Dehaghani discussing the complex task of identifying "vulnerability" in custody settings. How do custody sergeants determine who needs additional safeguards? #vulnerability #custody #policing

Lucky to have Sam Kirkby from the The Sutton Centre join us for our presentation about our Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre work in Bradford, reminding us that community members are experts in their own life and we need to provide long-term and sustainable support to build trust.

Interesting European Society of Criminology panel on CSAM. Similar findings to our Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre project on OCSV. Parents/teachers need more knowledge and support, perpetrators are calculating in their approach, we need to raise awareness and work more closely with children/ families! ARU
